Rancigaj Design is a design studio specialised in design and innovation. We work with international brands and support them from the initial idea through concepts to the final product. Our focus is on product design and product engineering, where we combine creativity, problem solving, ergonomics, and mechanical engineering to bring your ideas to life. We support our partners from early-stage development through prototyping, testing, and refinement. We also design visual communications and graphic brand identities, helping brands build a clear and consistent presence. Where every detail is carefully considered.

Our Approach

Rancigaj Design was founded through a shared interest in multidisciplinary thinking, strategic development, communication, and human-centered design. The studio combines industrial design, engineering awareness, conceptual development, branding, visualization, and communication into one connected development philosophy.

Values & Principles

We believe meaningful design emerges through research, iteration, communication, testing, engineering awareness, and emotional understanding. Every line, material, proportion, and interaction should exist for a reason. Products should feel intuitive, understandable, ergonomic, emotionally coherent, and strategically refined. Strong products are not only visually attractive. They create trust. They communicate clearly. They perform naturally. They feel resolved.

We approach every project methodically and collaboratively. Rather than designing from trends, we develop solutions through principles of usability, communication, ergonomics, engineering awareness, emotional understanding, and purposeful refinement.We believe the strongest outcomes emerge when ambitious ideas are supported by structured development, calm collaboration, and long-term responsibility.

Gal Rančigaj

Industrial designer focused on research-driven development, strategic problem solving, engineering-aware design, visualization, prototyping, and holistic product thinking. His process combines analytical thinking, intuition, iterative refinement, ergonomic understanding, and manufacturing awareness across complex multidisciplinary projects. Gal’s engineering-oriented background is strengthened by completed mechanical engineering exams at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Ljubljana, including machine elements, modern materials, 3D construction, basics of construction, statics, and production systems.

Maja Zupanc

Designer focused on conceptual thinking, branding, visual communication, visualization, print design, creative direction, and project coordination. Her work helps translate complex ideas into emotionally coherent and visually engaging communication systems and experiences.
